Driver Liability and EC Drivers’ Hours’ Regulations

This 7 hour training module covers the scope of current legislation, so that we equip your staff with a deeper working knowledge of EC Drivers Hours’ and Tachograph Regulations and their liability and potential exposure to risk.

In the continued drive to make our roads safer, it’s important that you stick to the regulations enforced via the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA). Failing to do so can result in your receiving an improvement notice setting out deadlines for the changes you need to make or even a prohibition notice to cease certain operations.

The course includes drivers’ hours in relation to the working time directive, as well as the analogue and the digital tachograph.

We pride ourselves on presenting course content in plain English, cutting through the jargon to ensure that your staff understand and fully appreciate the implications of non -compliance.

It’s our aim that they will return to your company with a fresh approach, using their training and applying it to the practicalities of the working environment.

We want to translate all the theory into genuine improvements which minimise your risk and improve the efficiency of your company.

The course is designed to keep you within the law and covers the following additional aspects:

  • Legislation in relation to penalties, court, prosecutions and Graduated Fixed Penalties
